I’m Echo and I write a lot of book reviews– much more sporadically nowadays, but I’m working on it.

Rating/Review System

Art is subjective, and that applies to books. As an aspiring writer, I am painfully aware of this, and thus, none of my star ratings should be viewed as a judgement of a book’s innate quality or an author’s writing talent. My ratings and reviews reflect my personal taste, and I try to provide details in my reviews about what specific aspects I enjoyed and what criticisms I have.

You’ll see more positive reviews than negative ones here, because I feel much more compelled to write about media that had an impact on me.
