My name is Emily and I write a lot of book reviews– much more sporadically nowadays, but nevertheless. I am completing my last year of an undergraduate cellular biology degree and trying to squeeze in some time for literary pursuits when I’m not working on school or organizing for other things.

I like to read literary fiction, speculative fiction, and horror with a psychological dimension, and that’s generally what I write as well. I also read a lot of nonfiction on leftist politics and activism, history, popular science of all stripes, and environmentalism. I am vegan for the animals since 2022, and very passionate about it.

I am currently drafting a (few) novels of my own. We will see if they ever get finished.
