Ah, the classics. Always an entertaining bunch.
Today I was feeling rather bored and procrastinatory, and so like one does, I decided to come up with some alternative titles for classic books. Better titles than the ones that already exist. I try not to pretend I’m funny, so do bear with me…
(Extremely bad jokes incoming. You’ve been warned.)
Coming Up With New Titles for Classic Books
1) When The Past Comes Back To Haunt You
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

2) Alexa Gone Wrong
2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke

3) Hookup Culture
Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare

4) You Can’t Marry A Man You Just Met!
(“But it’s TRUE LOVE!”)
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

5) Smashing the Patriarchy
Macbeth by William Shakespeare

Have you read any of the books on this list? Any alternate titles to add? Feel free to leave a comment!
