GPT-3 is currently the world’s most advanced language model AI (as of June 2022, when I’m writing this post) and I have been wanting to try it out for months. I’ve also been seeing it all over Twitter recently because people have been using it to generate 4chan greentexts.
It used to be that you could only gain access after going through a developer application process, but today I figured out that you can gain access by creating a free account on this section of the website.
Of course, after I created my account, I spent literally the entire rest of the afternoon generating things on it. And at first, I didn’t even think that it was real. The results look like they were written by a human. It’s actually insane. And some of the outputs were just hilarious. This is not at all related to books, like what I usually write, but this is my personal blog after all so I’m going to to share it anyway.
Anyway, here are some of the best/funniest/most interesting things that I got it to generate:
A dialogue between God and Richard Dawkins:

A conversation between Karl Marx and Joseph McCarthy:

An essay written by an angry horse:

A dark humor joke:

A conversation between the Joker and his therapist:

A philosophical text on the meaning of life:

The inner monologue of an insane Reddit moderator:

A conversation between Satan and the Pope:

The AI’s least favorite books:

and finally, this:

What is your favorite thing it generated? Have you gotten a chance to use GPT-3 yet? Let me know in the comments!

Lololol, these AI posts are probably still my favorites of yours 🤣 Although this one is genuinely creepy in how much the writing actually sounds like a real person’s! Seriously, this is more coherent than half of the stuff I’ve written! 🤯
My favorite thing has got to be the AI’s least favorite books, though. There’s so much snarkiness! 😂 And since I also hate The Catcher in the Rye and The Great Gatsby, I’m even willing to forgive it for continuing its list with books I absolutely love…
