Well, it’s been almost a year since I posted my first travel bucket list. I still haven’t ever left America, it is all very boring and sad and I’ll probably never end up getting to go to most of these places, but a girl can dream, right?
I need to give some credit to Kara & Nate’s YouTube channel, since I’ve watched so many of their videos from several of these places! Without further ado, here are 10 more places I would LOVE to travel someday!
1) The Maldives

Look at me with a straight face and tell me the Maldives don’t look like tropical heaven on earth.
2) Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany

Fact of the day: while writing this post I forgot the name of this place, and I found it by just Googling “that castle in Germany”
Look at how fairytale-y it looks! How idyllic! How picturesque!
3) Anywhere in Ireland

I’m something like 1/4th Irish, I think, or maybe it’s 1/3rd, well the point is I have Irish ancestry, I’m Catholic and I did competitive Irish dance for 10 years so I feel like I’m obligated to go to Ireland one day. Plus, it just seems so nice there.
4) The Uyuni Salt Flat, Bolivia

This picture doesn’t show the most awesome part of this place, though: when the salt flats are wet, it’s like walking on a giant mirror. (Or so the Internet has told me)
5) Antarctica

I’d also want to head down to Antarctica, which may or may not sound like a super fun place to go at first, but there is something so alluring about being at the bottom of the world…
6) The Taj Mahal in Agra, India

I really want to go to India, and of course I would have to go to one of the most famous landmarks there
7) The Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

First of all, this picture is so cool, and second of all, I read about these towers first in a geography book when I was younger and have been wanting to go here ever since!
8) Yosemite National Park

Just look at it. The mountains, the trees, the sky, the fresh air… I can almost feel this picture. Also, have any of you seen that terrifying documentary about the guy who climbed El Capitan in Yosemite without any ropes?
9) Ha Long Bay, Vietnam

Vietnam seems like such a beautiful country, especially Ha Long Bay– imagine just being on a boat and floating through that view.
10) Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, Iceland

I hadn’t heard of Seljalandsfoss waterfall until I was researching places to add to my travel bucket list, and I really can’t believe it evaded my notice for so long… I mean, look at this!
I could go on all day, but those are all the potential travel destinations I’m going to feature today. Maybe I’ll make a part 3 when the mood strikes me?
Do you travel a lot? Have you been to any of the places on this list? What is your favorite place you’ve ever been?
(Mine is Colorado! I love the mountains)
As always, thanks for stopping by Frappes & Fiction today!
India is a beautiful country in all its imperfections. Hope you get to visit her someday ❤️

These places all looks so wonderful! I really hope you get to check these off your bucket list! Seljalandsfoss Waterfall especially stole my heart – I’ve always wanted to go see Iceland, so one day, it has to happen!
(I also feel mildy embarrassed that I live pretty close to Neuschwanstein Castle, but have never been there 😅 It’s just so known for being swarming with tourists and there are so many other castles here that I’ve never felt an overpowering urge to go… But you can’t deny that Ludwig II built some pretty epic residences – I have been to Herrenchiemsee and it’s very impressive – so maybe I’ll have to give Neuschwanstein a try eventually after all 😁)

Ooh that’s cool that you live close to it– I have not been to a lot of the touristy places near where I live so that’s relatable, lol. I really hope I do somehow get to travel to some of these places in the future; thanks for reading! I hope you get to go to Iceland too!

Nice list! I’ve traveled a fair amount, mostly because my husband and I were both in the military for many years. I’ve been to Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, and it’s every bit as lovely in real life as it is in the photos. I’ve also been to Ireland many times as I lived in England for several years. And every time I went to Ireland I felt welcomed. They do seem to love Americans over there! And I’ve been to Yosemite National Park, although it’s been a few years since I’ve been there.
Is the Grand Canyon on your list? I live nearby and am going there next week to hike and camp.
Best wishes to you in getting to these places on your list! It’s an extraordinary list and I hope you get to every place!

Wow, that’s great! I have not been to the Grand Canyon but it is definitely somewhere I want to go. I didn’t put it on this list because I featured Monument Valley in my last post and so I didn’t want to keep doing that region

We went to Yosemite about a month ago and it’s absolutely breath taking! My eyes were watering when we first drove in, it was quite the experience. Also that documentary was so nerve wracking even though I knew how it would end, my hands were sweaty the whole time ha!

Ah I want to go to Yosemite so badly! And I had to cover my eyes during that documentary– I’m scared of heights too so it was even more alarming

I’ve been to Ireland, and Antarctica is booked (if they’ll stop cancelling). Many of the others are on my list so, hopefully one day! Happy travels!
